Maintaining raised and water gardens

January 7th, 2009

Raised gardens can be used to put up flowers and vegetables. They prevent weeds from the garden soil. They also serve as a barrier and thus preventing pests like snails and others to get in. These raised gardens can easily be maintained without needing extra care except for frequent water, etc. You can either make your own raised garden or can even buy readymade gardens which are available to buy and use it immediately.

You can keep these sort of gardens anywhere as you wish, even on the Japanese water garden as it requires very less space and also looks pleasing to the eyes if put proper flower plants. They also serve as a barrier, as said above and thus keeping your garden clean. If you have a Japanese water garden you can keep the raised garden very nearby the water bed to add more color to it.

In you keep it in water gardens proper care should be put in to avoid water creeping in. You can even keep it more elevated from the ground level if you have pets and thus preventing it from damaging. If kept in water gardens you can even put in cloche for your raised garden.
