I am sick of my nasty old overnight bag. It is fraying and the zip is breaking and it is too small to fit all of the families things in. We do not go away that often ? normally just to my in laws house, but we seem to have huge amounts of stuff when we go! I normally take loads of extra clothes for the children and I have lots of toiletries. My husband always takes tonnes of things as well ? it is no wonder our current luggage is splitting with so many things being squeezed inside it! The reason that I am choosing the Samsonite brand is that they have a good reputation for having strong things and I think that would be ideal for us as we are always trying to squeeze more things in and packing really heavy stuff. I will have a look and see what Samsonite luggage is available and then decide whether there is something that I think will be suitable for the family to use.

My husband loves his Leatherman. He bought it when he was on a trip to America and he carried it with him everywhere for ages. I have just discovered this wonderful shop on my high street which is like an Aladin?s cave. From the outside it looks like a model shop but inside they have the most amazing model train supplies. I find these tiny things amazing to look at and am always looking for a few odds and ends to add to my collection. I saw some estes rockets in there the other day and made it right to the top of my wish list. You see I cannot afford to buy things like this for myself but when it is my birthday, my children always want to buy me a present and so I write a list of the model bits that I want and give it to them and then they choose which ones they can afford or would like to get. It is a great way of improving my collection without breaking the bank. Last year they got me a gas rc car which was fantastic and I was most grateful. I sometimes wish that they did not waste their money on me, as I know how hard they work for what they have. However, I love the gifts that they buy me and I appreciate them even more knowing how much love they are given with.
